Aerocon has introduced a positive feeder system that allows the charging of solids directly into reactors, kettles, and mixing tanks while minimizing exposure of operators to harmful fugitive emissions.
Solids are introduced manually into the entrance tube of the system through a bag dump station or aero-mechanical conveyor.
Specifications
The standard Safe-T-Feed is constructed of 304 stainless steel with a 316 stainless steel flange tapered auger assembly and close-off valve. The system can be installed directly onto a reactor nozzle or the mixing tank cover. The unit is available with either a 6- or 8- inch inlet size.
