Tri-Clover Inc.with other pumps in the CL Series, the Tri-Clover WFI pump is equipped with special design features and manufacturer services, including pump traceability, making it particularly suitable for bio-pharmaceutical applications. The new water-for-injection model incorporates advanced seals, polishes and piping configurations to safeguard products from potential contamination. The pump's 316L stainless steel construction meets the high purity demands of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Tri-Clover's CL Series pump traceability applies to wetted parts, including the rotating seal face, stationary seal face, casing, impeller, impeller nut, cover and casing drain. Customers requesting traceability receive certificates detailing properties of the wetted parts, as well as verification of chemical properties for the materials used in the rotating and stationary Silicon Carbide seal faces.

The traceability procedures extend beyond programs of other pump manufacturers that provide a single traceability number for the entire pump. With Tri-Clover, wetted parts of the CL pump are stamped with their own traceable number, enabling traceability of replacement parts and ensuring traceability throughout the life of the pump.

Other pump features include a casing drain, 45° discharge and 20 Ra finish on all wetted parts as standard, full Clean-In-Place capability, a cast heavy-duty front cover and casing for quiet, dependable operation. To enhance processing volume and to help reduce operating costs, the pumps feature precisely engineered tolerances between the impeller and front cover. Operating efficiencies in the 70 percent range can be achieved.
