Loma Systems Introduces New Inspection Equipment For Gravity Fed Applications
August 4, 2010
Loma Systems, the global leader in non-contact inspection systems, recently unveiled the IQ+ FreeFall metal detection system for gravity fed applications. The IQ+ FreeFall is designed for free flowing products like powders, grains, cereals, and other free falling products. The IQ+ FreeFall features a full color, icon driven control panel. The control panel comes preinstalled with an operator's manual in multiple languages, ethernet and USB port connectivity, and built-in system reporting to meet HACCP and other quality assurance standards.
Loma IQ+ FreeFall has Loma's unique Automatic Product Learn system. The metal detector can be automatically calibrated - even under production conditions when the product is constantly flowing through the detector.
The compact design is flexible for installation into existing processing lines. Loma's Contained Field (CF) technology means that the required metal free area is minimal, ensuring that the system length is kept to the minimum.
The IQ+ FreeFall will be available in standard sizes of 4", 6", and 8" pipe diameters, with maximum flow rates from 6 to 24 tons per hour. Custom sizes will be available upon request.
The IQ+ FreeFall will begin shipping in September 2010.
